WE ARE GUIDE DOGS OF TEXAS

Our mission is to enhance the freedom, mobility, and independence for Texans who are visually impaired through the provision of high-quality guide dogs. We are committed to personalized service and lifelong dedication to our clients and their guide dogs.

OUR GOAL DURING THE 2025 BIG GIVE

Our goal during this spectacular event is to fund 3,650 days of puppy care. Why so many? 3,650 days equals ONE FULL YEAR of care for TEN FUTURE GUIDE DOGS!

SPONSOR A DAY. CHANGE A LIFE.

Every future guide dog starts their journey as a playful, curious puppy. But each day of their care is an important step toward becoming a trusted partner for a Texan living with blindness.

FROM PUPPY TO PARTNER.

Meet Mariah and her guide dog Miles! This new guide dog team were successfully matched early this year and together, they are navigating college, conducting innovative research, and loving being involved on campus!

"Miles makes me more confident," Mariah says. "When I am in a new place with people I don't know, I don't feel alone."

Donate now and help puppies just like Miles grow up to be strong, confident, and life-changing partners for Texans who are blind or visually impaired.

IMPORTANT NOTE

At Guide Dogs of Texas we provide our services to clients at no cost. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity and support of our donors to continue the life-changing work we do every day.

Who We Are

Can you imagine not being able to see and walking confidently across streets, through stores, and to work every day? Guide Dogs of Texas is here to make this possible. Highly skilled guide dogs have helped many blind Texans achieve goals, break-through the isolation of blindness, and participate in our community. These guide dogs are transformational!

Guide Dogs of Texas invites YOU to make this possible today through the Big Give SA. Please join us, and help us reach our goal of providing a year of guided sight. A day of freedom through guided sight is only $17. Would you please donate a day ($17), a week ($119), or a month ($510) of a guide dog partnership?
