Hello, I am Pat!
Can you believe 2026 marks my 31st year in the guide dog industry? That's older than smart phones, 3D printing, and the Webb telescope! So many clients, so many dogs.
Just over three years ago, I came to Guide Dogs of Texas and accepted the Chief Executive Officer role.
Since then, we’ve grown the team, significantly updated our training vehicles (come visit and tour them!), invested in our breeding program, and graduated a record number of dogs. Doing so has positioned us to meet the yearslong demand for excellence in guide dog training.
