Help Me Support Brighton Center
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Brighton Center is San Antonio's largest nonprofit supporting nearly 5,000 children with disabilities and developmental delays in our community through pediatric therapy, early childhood education, and special education support services.
Why I'm Supporting Brighton Center for Big Give
Growing up, learning did not always come easily to me. I understand how meaningful it is for a child to have someone who looks beyond what is difficult in the moment, recognizes their potential, and reminds them that struggling does not mean they are incapable.
In high school, I had the opportunity to support individuals with disabilities, and something in me immediately connected to that work. I knew I had found my calling: helping others feel seen, supported, and capable of more than the world may expect of them.
For the past seven years, Brighton Center has allowed me to live out that calling. My role has grown from directly supporting children and families to guiding the providers and leaders who now walk beside them. I get to help create support that meets children where they are, empowers their caregivers, and continues believing in their potential—even during the hardest moments.
When you give to Brighton Center, you are not simply funding a service. You are helping a child discover what they can do. You are giving a caregiver reassurance that they are not alone. You may even be placing the right person in a child’s life at exactly the moment they need someone to believe in them.
I know how much that can matter—because I was once that child.
Your gift today means more than supporting Brighton Center. It means standing beside me in a mission I care deeply about and choose to support every single day.
Every dollar you give today helps us reach the next child, the next family, the next moment where fear can soften into possibility.
