Help Me Support Brighton Center
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Brighton Center is San Antonio's largest nonprofit supporting nearly 5,000 children with disabilities and developmental delays in our community through pediatric therapy, early childhood education, and special education support services.
Why I'm Supporting Brighton Center for Big Give
My “why” is honestly pretty simple: kids deserve to have people in their corner.
One of my favorite things about working with children is getting to know who they are as individuals. Every child learns differently, communicates differently, and needs different things from the adults around them. I think sometimes, especially when kids need a little extra support, it can be easy to focus on what they can’t do yet instead of everything they’re already capable of.
Getting to be there for the little moments is what makes this work matter to me. It’s watching a child finally accomplish something we’ve been working on and seeing how proud they are of themselves. It’s hearing them use words we’ve practiced, watching them become more independent, or seeing something suddenly click after we’ve tried it a hundred different ways.
And honestly, sometimes it’s just being the person who makes sure a child knows, “I see you. I understand you. I’m here.”
That’s why Brighton’s mission matters to me. Every child deserves the chance to grow into exactly who they’re meant to be, with people around them who believe they can get there. I love that I get to be one of those people.
Your gift today means more than supporting Brighton Center. It means standing beside me in a mission I care deeply about and choose to support every single day.
Every dollar you give today helps us reach the next child, the next family, the next moment where fear can soften into possibility.
