This is what Community Looks Like:
Nourish. Move. Renew. Belong.
CRRC asked Canyon Lake residents what helps people live healthier, more stable, and more connected lives.
You told us rising costs are affecting household stability. You told us affordable recreation helps people remain active and independent. You told us dignity, choice, trusted guidance, and social connection matter.
We listened.
Through donations for Big Give 2026, CRRC is raising $125,000 to help our community Nourish, Move, Renew, and Belong.
With $30,000 already committed in matching funds, we need our community to help raise the remaining $95,000.
Choose the part of CRRC’s mission that speaks to you—or make an unrestricted gift that helps CRRC respond wherever community need is greatest.
LAST YEAR, YOU GAVE. CRRC DELIVERED.
When Food Pantry demand rose 40% beginning in October 2025, Big Give donations helped CRRC sustain food access through the difficult final months of the year. Big Give donors also helped fund four new air-conditioning units at the Recreation Campus, protecting a year-round gathering place for children, families, and older adults.
CRRC completed the projects our donors funded. That same commitment to responsible stewardship continues in 2026. Donations raised throughout this year have also helped move the Resource Center expansion toward completion—creating more space for trusted services and partners to reach Canyon Lake residents closer to home.
WHAT OUR COMMUNITY TOLD US
These are not assumptions about our community.
They are answers shared directly by the people who live, participate, volunteer, shop, donate, and receive services here.
FOUR WAYS TO STRENGTHEN ONE COMMUNITY
HOW DONOR CHOICE WORKS
Gifts made through Nourish, Move, Renew, or Belong will be used for that campaign’s stated purpose. Gifts made directly through CRRC’s main campaign page will support overall program expenses and will be allocated by CRRC where community need is greatest. If a theme exceeds its goal, additional funds will remain within that broader area of impact.
Canyon Lake may not have a traditional town square, but it has places where neighbors find one another: a pantry designed around choice; a gym filled with movement and friendship; a store where a gift card looks like any other; and a holiday village where every child can experience the magic.
This is what community looks like.
Choose how you will Nourish, Move, Renew, or Belong—and help CRRC continue showing up for Canyon Lake.
