$5,000 Goal

For more than 30 years, EarthShare Texas has connected people who care about the Texas environment with trusted nonprofit organizations creating healthier communities across our state. Today, we support a network of close to 30 vetted environmental nonprofits working on the issues Texans care about most—from protecting clean water and conserving natural lands to restoring wildlife habitat, expanding outdoor access, and building resilient communities.

Rather than asking you to choose a single organization or environmental issue, EarthShare Texas offers a simple way to multiply your impact through one trusted gift.

Your donation strengthens a collaborative network of nonprofits—including organizations serving San Antonio and South Central Texas such as The Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance, The Guadalupe River Conservancy, Bat Conservation International (Bracken Cave located in San Antonio), and The Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation— while also supporting conservation efforts that benefit communities across Texas. Together, these organizations share knowledge, leverage resources, and work toward lasting environmental solutions that no single organization could achieve alone.

Together, EarthShare Texas' network, in 2025 alone has helped:

    • 🚮 Remove more than 2.25 million pounds of trash from Texas lands and waterways.
    • 🏡 Plant more than 400,000 native trees.
    • 🌎 Conserve and protected 11.5 million acres.
    • 🔬 Provide more than 150,000 hours of environmental education and outdoor programming.
    • 🚰 Reach more than 22,000 children through water conservation education.

When you give to EarthShare Texas, you're investing in cleaner water, healthier lands, thriving wildlife, environmental education, and stronger, more resilient communities. One gift helps many organizations work together to protect the Texas we all share—starting right here in San Antonio and South Central Texas.

Investing in San Antonio's Environmental Workforce

EarthShare Texas also invests in the people and San Antonio-area nonprofits who make that work possible.

Through our Green Leaders Fellowship program, emerging professionals gain paid, hands-on experience and build skills for environmental careers, while nonprofit hosts gain additional capacity to advance their missions.

That investment is already making an impact in the San Antonio region:

💧 Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance, based in San Antonio, has been selected as a 2027 Green Leaders Fellowship Host Member Awardeeits third consecutive year participating in the program.

🦇 Bat Conservation International, which manages Bracken Cave Preserve outside San Antonio, has hosted Green Leaders Fellows twice since 2024.

The paid component is intentional. By providing a stipend, the Green Leaders Fellowship expands access to environmental careers while strengthening the nonprofits fellows serve.

It's an investment in people, nonprofit capacity, and the future of environmental work in San Antonio and across Texas.
