The Hangar National Flight

Partner with us to support 3 scholarship students this year, grow our program by 30%, and enhance our support for national candidates!

Last year, The Hangar National Flight supported its first two matching scholarship students. Our award winners from Delaware and Arizona were deserving and accomplished AFROTC cadets in areas without an active local Daedalian flight. Without The Hangar, they would have limited opportunities for financial support. Our funding empowered them to remain focused on pursuing academic, leadership, and aviation-related opportunities to enhance their package and pursue a rated slot.

This year, The Hangar has two key goals for The Big Give:

(1) Increase number of members participating in the campaign to expand our reach and grow our base of trusted volunteers and donors

(2) Reach $6,000 in funds raised, outpacing last year's total fundraising and allowing us to increase our support to three students this year

As the National Flight, The Hangar has the largest and most diverse group - geographically, demographically, in terms of military aviation experiences - working together to support the missions of the Order and Foundation. As a digital community and national flight, we are well-positioned to pursue unique opportunities to promote, support, and advocate on behalf of the military aviation community we all love. Our national reach allows to empower exceptional young Americans from a variety of experiences who share our values and commitment to excellence to join the community that has given all of us, so much!
