Cassandra's Fundraiser for the Carver

Help Keep Culture Alive. Invest in the Arts.

This year, I’m proud to support the Carver Community Cultural Center during The Big Give—and I’m asking you to join me.

For nearly a century, the Carver has been a cornerstone of civic and cultural life for San Antonio's Eastside community...a thriving hub for African American arts, history, creativity, and culture. Today, it honors this cultural legacy while utilizing the power of the arts to bring people together across cultures to share our stories, preserve our histories, celebrate our global community and inspire future generations.

At the Carver we believe equitable access to arts and cultural experiences is a right and essential component of any healthy and thriving community.

When we invest in the Carver, we invest in making those experiences accessible to more people. We support artists, nurture young people, strengthen communities, and help ensure that the stories, traditions, and cultural expressions that have shaped our community continue to be shared and preserved.

The Big Give is an opportunity to invest in that legacy and its future.

I invite you to make a gift through my personal fundraiser. Every contribution helps the Carver continue creating meaningful opportunities to experience, learn from, and participate in the arts and culture.

Together, we can help ensure the Carver remains a place where culture is celebrated, creativity flourishes, stories are preserved, and everyone has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the arts.

Give today. Preserve the legacy. Inspire the future.

Thank you for believing in the power of arts, culture, and community—and for helping carry the Carver’s legacy forward.
