For nearly a century, the Carver has been a cornerstone of our community, providing a home for African American arts, history, creativity, and culture. Its long history reflects the power of the arts to bring people together, preserve our stories, celebrate our heritage, and inspire future generations.
Equitable access to arts and cultural experiences matters. The arts spark creativity, build confidence, broaden perspectives, strengthen connections, and create opportunities for people of all ages to learn, imagine, and thrive. They enrich individuals while helping build vibrant, connected communities.
When we invest in the Carver, we invest in making those experiences accessible to more people. We support artists, engage audiences, nurture young people, and help ensure that the stories, traditions, and cultural expressions that have shaped our community continue to be shared and preserved.
