The Big Gay Give: Isis Paris York

Isis Paris York is a South Texas drag performer, and this September she's stepping onto a new stage: official representative for the Diversity Recovery Alliance in The Big Gay Give!

Isis Paris York is a Corpus Christi native who has been gracing the stages of Corpus and the surrounding areas for the past 8 years. 

She is the host of the Isis Paris York Show. A reoccurring event at the Hidden Door that she has been hosting for the past 3 years where she invites entertainers from all over Texas to showcase their talents for her Corpus Christi audience. 

With her platform she has helped to create opportunities to showcase new and upcoming entertainers in the Corpus Christi area. 

The Big Gay Give brings San Antonio's LGBTQ+ nonprofits together for a little friendly competition, with a fabulous drag queen championing each one. Two nights of drag, September 23 and 24, one performance per queen, and one crown. The queen who raises the most money for her nonprofit is crowned Queen of the Big Gay Give.

We need Isis to take that crown. 👑

Here's why it matters. The Diversity Recovery Alliance runs the DRA Center, a safe place for LGBTQIA+ recovery in San Antonio. It's open every day, it welcomes every path to recovery, and nobody has to explain who they are before they can ask for help. It's volunteer-run and paid for by members and donors, which means the coffee, the rent, and the lights all come from people like you.

When you give to Isis's page, you're keeping the DRA Center open. 
$50 is a month of coffee. 
$250 is two months of free internet for our community. 
$500 keeps the lights and A/C on for a month (in the winter). 
Every gift starts at $10, and every dollar counts toward the crown.
