I am honored to have served on the board of SACRD for nearly six years. During that time, I have seen firsthand how pivotal this work is for our community.

SACRD, the San Antonio Community Resource Directory, helps connect people to the resources they need while also making it easier for the people who serve our community to find and share accurate information.

Every day, social workers, case managers, nonprofits, faith communities, and other helpers are working to connect our neighbors with food, housing, health care, financial assistance, and other critical services. SACRD gives them a reliable place to find those resources, helping them spend less time searching and more time serving.

In fact, organizations using SACRD have seen social worker productivity increase by 10%. That means more time focused on people and less time trying to navigate fragmented information.

As a board member, I am proud of what SACRD has built and excited about what is ahead. But keeping this resource available, accurate, and accessible to our community takes support.
