Every day, survivors of sexual violence across Bexar County and San Antonio turn to Alamo Area Rape Crisis Center for help — often in the hours right after an assault, when support matters most, and sometimes years later, when they're finally ready to talk about what happened. This Big Give, we're asking 500 people to give $5 each. Together, that's $2,500, and every dollar goes directly toward the services survivors depend on.

RCC operates a 24/7 survivor support line, staffed around the clock so that no survivor in San Antonio or Bexar County has to face the moments after assault alone. Whether someone is calling minutes after an assault or working up the courage to reach out for the first time, that call is answered by someone trained to help.

Survivors navigating hospitals, exams, police reports, paperwork, and the legal system often need someone in their corner who understands the process. RCC's advocates walk alongside survivors through these systems so they don't have to face them without alone.

Recovery from sexual violence isn't linear, and it isn't quick. RCC's therapists and support groups give survivors and their families a safe, trauma-informed space to process what happened and begin healing, on their own timeline.
