Senita's Fundraiser for Special Reach

Special Education is very important to me because I enjoy helping children with special needs. Every child is different and every child learns in their own way. Some children may need more time, more help, or a different way of learning. I like being there to help encourage them and help them feel comfortable.  I want them to know that someone believes in them and wants to see them do well. Even the little things matter to me. When a child learns something new, communicates what they need or does something they could not do before, it makes me happy to see their progress. Working with special needs children also teaches me to have patience, understanding and compassion. I want every child I work with to feel safe, loved, included, and accepted for who they are. That is why special education has a special place in my heart.
