Help Me Support Brighton Center
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Brighton Center is San Antonio's largest nonprofit supporting nearly 5,000 children with disabilities and developmental delays in our community through pediatric therapy, early childhood education, and special education support services.
For more than 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside children with developmental delays and disabilities and the families who love them. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of Brighton Center, where I get to support the amazing teams who are in homes and communities every day, helping families access early intervention when it matters most.
One of my favorite things is walking down our preschool hallway and seeing one of our kiddos do something for the very first time, holding a spoon independently, taking a jump, trying something new. Seeing the joy and pride on their face is something I never take for granted. And then I look over and see their teacher or therapist celebrating right alongside them, just as proud of that moment.
Those moments may seem small to some, but we know they are anything but small. They represent progress, possibility, confidence, and hope for a child and their family.
I’m so grateful to be part of a team that believes in children, believes in families, and works every day to make sure they have the tools and support they need to thrive. Supporting Brighton Center means supporting those first milestones, those proud parents, those dedicated teachers and therapists, providers and all the possibilities that come next.
