For those of you that know us personally, you know much Brighton Center means to us. 

Eva had a rough start... a 3-week NICU stay, congenital heart defects, low oxygen levels, feeding issues, you name it! When we were sent home from the hospital, Marcos and I felt unsure of what her future would look like. Not just because of her medical issues, but there were also so many "unknowns" with her Down Syndrome diagnosis.

When we found Brighton Center, all the fear, uncertainty, and hopelessness went away. When Eva started PT, OT, and Speech therapy at home, we saw her grow exponentially. When she started attending the Brighton preschool, her teachers and classmates embraced her personality and strengths and helped her gain independence. When she transitioned into public school, Brighton's special education advocates fought to get her the resources she needed to thrive. Now I look back at how much Eva has grown, and I KNOW that she wouldn't be where she is without Brighton Center's support. Eva's story is just one of the MANY children whose lives are forever changed because of the genuine care, support, and passion that come from Brighton's therapists, teachers, and advocates. Our family is forever grateful...

Brighton Center is San Antonio's largest nonprofit supporting nearly 5,000 children with disabilities and developmental delays in our community through pediatric therapy, early childhood education, and special education support services.
