Hello everyone! My name is Preston Nguyen, and I had the incredible opportunity to serve as a counselor at CAMP (Children’s Association for Maximum Potential). This experience allowed me to see firsthand just how meaningful CAMP is for campers, their families, and everyone who volunteers.
As a counselor, I had the privilege of supporting an individual with disabilities by helping with daily needs, offering encouragement, and making sure they felt included and supported throughout their time at camp.
What makes CAMP so special is that campers are given opportunities to experience activities that may not be possible for them elsewhere—from swimming in the pool and paddling a canoe to simply enjoying the excitement and fun of camp. At CAMP, disabilities do not define what someone can experience or accomplish.
I am incredibly grateful to be part of a place that creates these opportunities, friendships, and lasting memories. Please consider supporting CAMP and helping make these unforgettable experiences possible for even more campers!
