Working in Client Services at Haven for Hope has shown me that finding stability is about more than meeting basic needs. It's also about helping people rediscover joy, purpose, connection, and confidence.

Every day, I see how enrichment activities and supportive services can make a difference in someone's journey. Whether it's a parent attending a family event with their children, a client participating in an art workshop, or someone learning a new skill through one of our programs, these moments help build hope and remind people that they matter.

One client shared with me that attending a weekly activity was the first time in years they felt like they were part of a community. What may seem like a simple experience can become a turning point, helping someone feel seen, valued, and encouraged to keep moving forward.
