• A Perfect Record: For years, YWLA has maintained a flawless 100% high school graduation rate, with 100% of its graduating seniors accepted into four-year colleges and universities across the country.

What makes these accomplishments truly extraordinary is the barrier-breaking nature of this success. Nearly half (approximately 43%) of our student demographic comes from economically disadvantaged households in San Antonio. Eighty-five percent are Latinas! For many of these young women, they will be the first in their families to cross a college graduation stage. YWLA eliminates the systemic hurdles that threaten to limit their potential, proving daily that financial circumstance does not dictate capacity for greatness.

While YWLA operates as a public charter school within SAISD, public funding only covers the basics. The YWLA Foundation bridges the gap.
