Carrying the Light Forward

Local artist Albert Gonzales, known as TREBLA, created "The Light" in partnership with Rape Crisis Center to support survivors of sexual violence in San Antonio and Bexar County.

Now you can bring a piece of that light home. The first 30 people who donate $100 or more to this campaign will receive an artist-signed print of "The Light" — a gift of gratitude for standing with survivors.

We'll reach out directly to the first 30 donors to arrange pickup at our office. Moved to give more? Every dollar beyond $100 goes straight toward crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and prevention education for survivors across our community.

Your gift says what too many survivors never hear: you are not alone, and there is light ahead.

Double Your Donation

During The Big Give, RCC has select windows of time where your donation gets matched dollar-for-dollar — meaning your $5 becomes $10 for survivors across Bexar County!

Match Minutes for Wednesday, Sept. 23:

Match Minutes for Thursday, Sept. 24

1:13 p.m.

3:13 p.m.

Matching funds are limited, so timing matters. Here's how to be ready.

1. About 5 minutes before the match minute you've selected, you're going to click the donation button above.

2. Select your donation amount and add it to your cart, but don't click submit yet. Leave it there until the window opens.

3. Watch the clock!

4. The moment the match minute opens, complete your donation. Matching funds go fast, often within seconds of each window opening.

5. Share this page. The more donors who are loaded and ready for future match minutes, the more matched dollars reach survivors.

6. Feel free to come back for more match minutes!
