Compassion in Action

One of the greatest privileges of my work at Haven for Hope is getting to witness people change their lives, one goal, one conversation, and sometimes one really hard day at a time. I’m surrounded by an incredible team of case managers and coworkers who show up every day to walk alongside our clients through some of their toughest challenges. We love to celebrate the wins, the big ones being housing, employment, reconnecting with family, and recovery. We also celebrate the victories that may not look like much from the outside, but are big for our clients. I’m grateful to work with people who's actions remind me why I show up every day.

I also know that I would not be where I am today without the support, guidance, and mentorship of others. Many of those people are my team members and cohorts, and I’m incredibly grateful for the ways they’ve invested in me. They are the people who ensure our clients have that same kind of support. So, I’m inviting you to be part of the success I get to witness every day. Your donation helps support the people doing this work and, most importantly, the people working hard to build a different future for themselves. You don’t have to sit in a case management meeting, learn the acronyms, or remember where the coffee is hidden. You can be part of the team simply by giving.
