Bob Supports America's Walking Club

Hello all, I am Bob, a three-term term Regional Director for the Mid-America Region covering the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois and Ohio and an active Volkssporter since 1985, when I started in Germany.  So, you know that I no spring chicken, though my picture may depict a younger person because of my Volkssporting activities and its support. Since returning home in 1990 I have continued active participation in and support of Volkssporting activities in the USA through America's Walking Club, otherwise known as the American Volkssport Association (AVA).

Many of you may recall Don Vartanian, who can only be described as the most enthusiastic supporter of Volkssporting.  Though Don Vartanian is Gone, his support of Volkssporting in the United States and around the world was legendary.  Please support America's Walking Club as Don would have, to keep Volkssporting growing at home and abroad.

As Don and I have experienced trekking in the State Parks of any state within the Mid-America Region or joining with others at Crazy Horse or along the many Rail-to-Trails projects around the nation, you too may experience the comfort of the trails and sense of community with likeminded persons that comes with participation in Volkssporting activities.  Unfortunately, the joys of Volkssporting of late have been at risk.  

To keep it going and to allow future generations to experience the joys of Volkssporting in the USA, WE must support the AVA through volunteering our time and by donating the dollars to allow the AVA to continue its mission.
