$2,000 goal
I am supporting St. Paul Lutheran Child Development Center in the Big Give this year, raising $2,000 to help provide food, diapers, and loving care to kids and families.
Martha went to St. Paul's for almost three years, and the amazing staff and teachers felt like part of our family. Her growth, development and spirit are forever strengthened because of their amazing work! We want to give back to make sure other families can get the love and care that made such a difference for us.
Thank you for helping me reach my goal!
St. Paul Lutheran Child Development Center has been helping young children learn and grow for more than 30 years. Our dedicated staff adhere to high standards of NAEYC accreditation in a loving, faith-based environment.
This summer, we moved to a new location at The Children's Shelter campus. We love and appreciate the beloved community of St. Paul Lutheran Church, our home for over 30 years, and we moved with their blessing to begin a new chapter for our organiztion. With The Children's Shelter, we have new opportunities to share resources and amplify our impact, but we need your help to sustain us through this transition.
We are raising $20,000 to help maintain operations while we build enrollment in our new neighborhood. We need your help!
Our children need you
All children deserve loving care that nurtures their development.
We are a mission-based organization, 501(c)3 nonprofit. Keeping our services affordable is only possible through the charitable support of people like you.
Your gift provides:
-
Top-tier care and early education
St. Paul is more than a daycare! Evidence-based early education has a lifelong impact, ensuring kids are ready to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. We are one of only two NAEYC accredited organizations serving downtown. -
Free diapers and nutritious meals
Nutrition is critical for early brain development, growth, and overall health. Free diapers help working families succeed: St. Pauls’ parents won’t miss work if they can’t afford diapers for a child’s day in care. -
Free essentials and supportive counseling for parents who need it
Through our C.A.R.E program, we support more than 350 families throughout the community, including those at our childcare center who need support. Through counseling, new parents learn how to nurture children’s growth through strong, loving parent-child relationships and receive critical items like diapers, cribs and food.
We are recognized for our quality of care and service
We are proud to say our high quality of care and developmental education has been recognized by top certifications and accreditations:
- NAEYC accredited
- Certified CCS vendor serving low-income families
- Certified 4-star with Texas Rising Star, the highest rating
- Texas School Ready! recognized program
- Qualify for the robust standards to be part of the federal Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
