Through Upward Transitions, located at Best View Stables, our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges by providing adaptive horsemanship through equine-assisted learning, helping participants build confidence, coping skills, and life skills to achieve their fullest potential.

Every day, our horses partner with children, teens, adults, veterans, and families as they build confidence, develop new skills, overcome challenges, and discover new possibilities. Whether a participant is grooming, leading, learning from the ground, or riding, each experience is designed to meet them where they are and encourage growth one step at a time.

Our horses are at the heart of this work. They teach patience, trust, communication, resilience, and confidence in ways that words alone cannot. As our program continues to grow, so do the opportunities to expand our impact and care for the horses who make this work possible.
