Upbring

We are a Texas-based nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of child abuse by empowering children, families, and communities. We work to create safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive and are committed to meeting children where they are, providing both immediate care and long-term resources to help them build brighter, more stable futures.

We serve children and families through a wide range of programs and services:

Foster in Texas: Our foster care program, serving nearly 400 children annually.

New Life Children's Center: A residential treatment center serving girls aged 11-17 who have experienced trauma.

BeReal: Safe housing and the educational, employment and essential support for young adults as they transition from foster care to independence.

HeadStart: Our statewide education program for underserved communities.

Child Wellbeing Zones: Community-based resources and prevention services that put children first while supporting their families.

You can help us make a meaningful impact in your community.
