These friendships developed into the stepping stones I needed to reach the goal of breaking out of my shell and ending this quiet version of myself.

Before, I was a student drowning in social isolation and bitterness, and now I am a successful Winston student in the National Honor Society & taking dual credit classes at San Antonio College. Now, I am someone who is on his way to the University of Hawaii Manoa, majoring in computer science.”

A learning difference is a neurological disorder that affects people's ability to either interpret what they see and hear or to link information from different parts of the brain.
