This year, we're raising funds to support The Village’s Transportation Services, which provides critical rides for our residents to medical appointments, grocery stores, social events, and more. Unfortunately, two of our vehicles — including a 2012 ADA-accessible mini bus and a smaller passenger car — have become worn with time and must be replaced. To continue offering safe, reliable transportation, we're actively working to replace both vehicles.
We've committed to purchasing a new ADA-accessible mini bus at a cost of $120,000, and now we're focusing on securing a reliable small SUV to replace our passenger car. We estimate the SUV will cost $70,000, and we're aiming to raise $40,000 during The Big Give to help make this purchase possible. The remaining costs will be covered through The Village’s operating budget.
With your support, we can get back on the road and continue providing the essential, reliable transportation our residents rely on every day.
