At Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) Kerrville, we are committed to providing life-affirming care and compassionate support for women, men, and families facing unplanned pregnancies and the challenges that can accompany pregnancy and parenting. Our mission is to support and empower individuals through services centered on hope, love, dignity, and the value of every life.

Founded with a deep passion for providing guidance during some of life’s most challenging moments, PRC Kerrville offers a safe, supportive environment where families can receive practical resources, encouragement, and education without pressure or judgment. We want every person who walks through our doors to know they are valued, supported, and equipped to make informed and confident decisions for themselves and their children.

Building Stronger Families Through Prevention

Our work extends beyond pregnancy. By providing parenting classes, practical parenting skills, education, mentoring, and ongoing guidance, we help strengthen families and provide parents with tools that can help prevent child abuse and neglect before it occurs.

According to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, 64,366 children were confirmed victims of child abuse or neglect in Texas in FY2024 an average of approximately 176 children every day.

In Kerr County, child abuse and neglect remains a serious concern in our own community. This is why prevention matters. By equipping parents with knowledge, practical parenting skills, encouragement, and tangible resources, PRC Kerrville seeks to help families build safe, stable, and nurturing homes.

How We Support Families

Parenting Education & Guidance
We provide parenting classes, education, and individualized guidance that equip parents with practical skills to understand their children’s needs, navigate parenting challenges, and build healthy parent-child relationships.

Material Assistance
We help families meet immediate physical needs by providing baby clothing, diapers, formula, and other essential items. Meeting these basic needs can help ease some of the financial pressures families experience during pregnancy and early parenthood.

Continued Support
Our relationship with families does not end when a baby is born. We seek to walk alongside parents as they grow in confidence, develop parenting skills, and work toward creating healthy and hopeful homes for their children.

A Safe Place to Turn
We provide a compassionate, confidential environment where parents can ask questions, receive encouragement, and connect with resources without fear of judgment.
