HISTORY
St. James the Apostle Catholic School was established in 1957 by the Parish in partnership with the Marianist Sisters. World War II barracks were moved from a nearby military base and with the help of the St. James community, they were remodeled and converted into classrooms. These buildings were meant to be temporary, but are still being used today for Specials classes and for grades PK3 through third.
This past August, after many years of planning, St. James the Apostle's new school building was ready! We are so excited for this great new venture, but we still have much to do to make the school the kind of learning center our children deserve.
We’re gearing up for something incredible — our newly renovated Learning Center! But here’s the thing: to make it truly amazing for our students, we need some cool furnishings that inspire creativity, comfort, and collaboration. And that's where YOU come in! Your support in The Big Give will help us turn empty rooms into vibrant learning spaces filled with comfy seating, colorful furniture, and innovative setups that make every day at school feel special. Let’s come together and make our school building a place where dreams grow and futures shine! Our children deserve it!
