For more than 40 years, SJRC Texas’ mission has been to create supportive and nurturing environments for children and families through advocacy, innovation, and the power of positive relationships. We believe in fostering a healthy environment where every child’s voice is heard, families receive continuous support, and communities collaboratively build bright futures for all. Through community, donor and volunteer support, SJRC Texas has served more than 72,000 of the state’s most vulnerable youth and families since our founding.

We provide an array of premier, nationally accredited continuum of care programs such as Residential Foster Care, Community-Based Care services through our division Belong, Foster Care and Adoption Services, Reunification and Kinship Services, a Family Resource Center in New Braunfels, and a Parenting Support Program.

Every gift MATTERS. Your support helps us meet the needs of 3,000 children and strengthen families across 28 counties. Together, we will change lives and empower our children and families to achieve their potential.

Every $50, helps fund the ongoing need for food, clothing, diapers, and essential items for children and families in our community.

Every $100, provides new bedding for a child or assists a graduating senior with some of the basic apartment essentials.

Every $300, provides educational materials, tutoring, and scholarships to help children succeed academically and prepare for future opportunities.

Every $500, helps families during emergencies by connecting families with local resources to provide assistance with groceries, gas, utility payments, and activities for child and family well-being.

Every $1,000, assists families during emergencies by providing rental assistance, daycare, summer programs for youth, home repairs, or medical equipment.
