 Who We Are

"WE SERVE"

The San Antonio Founder Lions Club are advocates for the blind & visually impaired in their crusade against darkness. We fund eye exams & glasses for those in need in the Bexar county area. We also fund a Mobile Eye Screening Unit throughout our district that gives free eye exams at public locations. We support a summer camp for children who are physically impaired. We do free eye testing for children under the age of 5 in daycare centers. We collect used eye glasses to be refurbished and given to those in need. And, we also help fund a low vision center and the Lions Sight Research Foundation.

"We Serve" our community though grants to fine organizations like: Sunshine Cottage, ChildSafe, Team Ability, Chrysalis Ministries, Meals on Wheels, Ronald McDonald House, Lighthouse for the Blind, SAMMinistries, and many more. "We Serve" as well through thousands of volunteer hours helping those most in need. Your donation goes directly to helping those in need.
