Who We Are

At Daily Bread, we believe food is a tool, not the solution to poverty. We partner with churches and Christian ministries that serve people in poverty in their local communities, providing food and equipping them to build healthy, supportive relationships with the people they serve. Inspired by the principles of When Helping Hurts, we help our Ministry Partners look beyond the immediate need of hunger and understand the deeper challenges of poverty. Through poverty alleviation training and courses such as Faith and Finances and Raising Highly Capable Kids, our partners gain practical tools to walk alongside people as they work toward lasting change. Our goal is not simply to provide food, but to help churches and ministries use food as a starting point for relationships that restore dignity, strengthen families, and bring hope through Christ.
