Project QUEST, Inc.

Make a Difference During The Big Give 2026

For more than 34 years, Project QUEST has been transforming lives and strengthening San Antonio's workforce by helping individuals gain the education, training, and support they need to secure in-demand, living-wage careers.

Today, just as envisioned in 1992, Project QUEST serves as a workforce intermediary, partnering with colleges, employers, and community organizations to connect adults with postsecondary education, individualized career coaching, financial assistance, employment services, and comprehensive supports that lead to completion and employment.

Each year, Project QUEST serves thousands of individuals through outreach, career navigation, participant services, and employer partnerships, creating pathways to education, training, and high-demand careers for economically disadvantaged adults across Bexar County.

Your Gift Changes Lives

When you give to Project QUEST during The Big Give 2026, you're doing more than making a donation—you're investing in opportunity, economic mobility, and a stronger San Antonio.

Every dollar helps participants overcome barriers such as transportation, childcare, financial hardship, and other challenges that can stand in the way of completing training and launching a career.

Even more powerful, every $1 invested in Project QUEST generates an estimated $27 in economic impact for our local community.

Together, we can help more individuals achieve financial independence while meeting the workforce needs of local employers.

About Project QUEST

Our Mission

To strengthen the economy by preparing individuals for in-demand, living-wage careers.

Who We Serve

Project QUEST serves adults who are underemployed, unemployed, or working in low-wage jobs and are committed to creating a better future for themselves and their families.

Many participants face significant barriers to success, including limited education, financial hardship, transportation and childcare challenges, and a lack of access to career opportunities. The majority of participants have household incomes at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Participants include first-generation college students, Pell Grant recipients, veterans, public assistance recipients, single parents, and individuals seeking a pathway to long-term economic stability.

Through individualized coaching, financial assistance, academic support, and connections to high-demand careers, Project QUEST helps participants complete training, secure quality employment, and achieve lasting economic mobility.
