This year, Petunia’s Rescued Friends is celebrating an incredible milestone: our first year at our Adoption Center in Hondo, Texas!

What started as a dream has become a place where rescued animals receive the love, care, and second chances they deserve. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have created a welcoming space where animals find their forever families, volunteers make a difference, and people of all ages come together through their love of animals.

But our journey is far from over!

🐾 Phase 2: Petunia’s Rescue Ranch & Education Center

With our Adoption Center officially open, we're ready to take the next step in expanding our rescue and creating even more opportunities for animals and our community.

This year, funds raised through The Big Give will help us bring Phase 2 to life!

Your donations will support:

- Slithers & Crawls Building: A dedicated space for rescued reptiles and other educational animals, featuring specialized enclosures and hands-on educational experiences.

- Rescue Ranch Expansion: Fencing, outdoor enclosures, and additional space to accommodate a wider variety of rescued animals.

- Dog Exercise & Training Areas: Secure outdoor play yards where our dogs can exercise, socialize, and prepare for their forever homes.

- Operational Support & Staffing: Hiring additional staff to support our dedicated volunteers, assist with daily animal care, and help maintain our growing facilities and programs.

- Community Education: Expanding opportunities for children, families, and community members to learn about animal welfare through educational programs and hands-on experiences.
