I Am Courageous

In 2012, when our 5-year-old daughter’s two friends were diagnosed with cancer, we felt helpless. We couldn’t take away their pain—but we could enCOURAGE them. So we shared what we knew best: UPLIFTING MUSIC.

That small act became the heartbeat of I Am Courageous (IAC).

For 14 years, we’ve seen firsthand how music can work miracles—calming anxious hearts, easing fear, lifting spirits, and reminding children they are STRONG & COURAGEOUS.

Today, we travel full-time to children’s hospitals across the country, filling rooms and hallways with live, hope-filled songs. We don’t perform for kids—we sing with them, because even the smallest voices deserve to feel COURAGEous.

Beyond the bedside, we give every child an IAC branded egg shaker and our custom plush lion COURAGE with access to hours of uplifting IAC content including music and a YouTube variety show called IAC TV. We also donate all of our content to hospitals for their CCTV programming, expanding our impact past our in-person visits and enCOURAGEing children who can’t leave their rooms.

We are a small nonprofit from San Antonio, Texas, powered entirely by people like you—people who believe that even in the hardest moments, joy and COURAGE can win.

This Big Give, we are raising $10,000 to enCOURAGE 1,250 children, that's just $8/child.

IAC enCOURAGEs over 15,000 children in 95 hospital visits each year.
