Hope for the Future

Meet Joshua and the Reyes Family

We invite you to watch Joshua's inspiring story and see firsthand how your generosity transforms lives.

In this moving video, Joshua shares how Holy Cross has helped shape not only his academic success but also his faith, character, and dreams for the future. His parents speak openly about the sacrifices they have made to keep their children in Catholic schools and the lasting impact that education has had on their family.

Stories like Joshua's are only possible because of generous supporters like you. Your gift is more than tuition assistance. It is an investment in a child's future, a family's dream, and a community strengthened by faith.

While the Texas Education Freedom Accounts program provides meaningful relief for many families, there are still students who need additional support to access a Catholic education. Hope for the Future is here to help fill that gap, ensuring more families have the opportunity to choose a faith-based education for their children.

Every gift matters. Every dollar brings hope. Every donation helps a child discover their God-given potential, strengthen their faith, and build a brighter future.

Together, we can ensure that more students have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in Catholic schools across the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Thank you for being part of their journey and for helping make Catholic education possible for local families.

Who We Are

Hope for the Future fulfills the archdiocese’s long-term commitment to Catholic school education by assuring our schools will continue to thrive in providing all families, and especially those most in need, with an education that is first class, rooted in faith and forms successful, community-minded leaders of tomorrow.

Started in December of 2006 by Archbishop Gomez and community and businesses leaders, the mission of Hope for the Future was simple; to Assist Families in Obtaining the Academic and Spiritual Benefits of a Catholic School Education in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. We accomplish this mission by providing tuition assistance scholarships to families in need. To date, Hope for the Future has provided approximately 12,000 children more than $17 million in tuition assistance since 2006.

With your help we can provide access to Catholic school education to any families, regardless of their economic status. Your support can change the life of a child and their family.
