Guardian House

Since 1997, Guardian House has worked diligently across Bexar County and surrounding areas to help families build strong, positive relationships. The
organization emphasizes a therapeutic approach to embrace the best interest of every child and equip families to break generational cycles of abuse and conflict. 

Our services and programs offer a holistic and therapeutic
approach that brings healing to children and families.

We offer supervised
visits for those facing custody challenges and supervised child exchanges for
parents with joint custody. For many of our families, Guardian House is their only
therapeutic-based resource, supporting court-ordered supervised visitation and
safe, monitored exchanges. Their visits to Guardian House are sometimes the highlight of the week – and the only time they can connect, grow and
experience many of the moments we might take for granted.

We also offer positive parenting and co-parenting classes; and counseling for children, parents, couples, and families. These services are available to anyone in our community, NOT just families involved in separations, divorces, or other court-mandated situations.

Not only do we want to help families unpack existing trauma and heal from it, we also value the importance of education and mental health services that meet families where they are, and help to PREVENT violence and trauma.
