Dress for Success San Antonio

We dress women for the job — and we prepare them for the journey

On September 23-24, 2026Dress for Success San Antonio will take part in #TheBigGive2026, our city’s 24-hour online giving event.

We’re asking for your help to raise $10,000 to help fund our programs that help support women who are working hard to change their lives.

Early giving begins September 16!

Every donation helps us do something real: stand alongside someone who is working hard to rebuild their life. We do this by listening to their story, helping them prepare for interviews, offering professional clothing, and connecting them to programs that build confidence and skills.

The outfit is just the first step—what follows is transformation. The real change begins with resume support, mock interviews, career coaching, and a team that believes in them even when they’re still learning to believe in themselves.

Empowering Women

When a woman walks through our doors, she may be carrying more than just the stress of unemployment. She may be rebuilding after loss, starting over after incarceration, or trying to support her family on her own. We don’t just hand her a suit—we offer her encouragement, respect, and a reminder that she’s not alone.

Her first suiting includes everything she needs to feel prepared: a professional outfit, shoes, undergarments, a handbag, cosmetics, toiletries, and accessories. If she gets the job, she comes back to choose several more professional pieces—still at no cost.

But what she leaves with is more than clothing. She leaves with confidence. With hope. With someone in her corner.

What We Do

We meet people where they are—often in moments of uncertainty—and offer practical support to help them move forward. That includes:

  • Suiting
  • Career Center
  • Job Training
  • Employment Retention
  • Financial Literacy & Empowerment
  • Self-defense workshops
  • Professional Women’s Group
  • Mock Interview Workshops & Focus Groups
  • Military Rise Program for transitioning veterans
  • Continued support after they’re hired

Our services are free to anyone 18 or older who is actively seeking work, authorized to work in the U.S. and ready to take the next step towards her success.

Why Your Support Matters

The Big Give is more than a fundraising event. It’s a moment when our community comes together to say, we care. It’s a chance to show up for our neighbors, to invest in their future, and to remind them that they’re not facing these challenges alone.

Your generous gift is more than a donation—it’s a powerful act of belief in someone’s potential. Because of you, a woman in our community will walk into her next opportunity with confidence, support, and the tools she needs to succeed.

Give today. Be part of her journey.
