For 40 years, people in our community have made sure survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault have somewhere safe to turn.

Because of people like you, the Crisis Center of Comal County has grown from a grassroots effort in 1986 into a comprehensive crisis center providing shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, crisis intervention, housing support, and a 24/7 hotline—all at no cost to survivors.

One survivor described the difference simply:
