Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center

The Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center (BSBAC) was established in 1991 to provide services to seniors age 50 and above. Our mission is to facilitate active aging and enhance the quality of life for older adults in our communities. BSBAC addresses the challenges of malnutrition, food insecurity, social isolation, and physical inactivity through three programs: 1) Nutritional, Outreach & Transportation Programs; 2) Health & Wellness Programs; 3) Social Activities.

BSBAC delivers meals through Meals on Wheels Bulverde Spring Branch (MOW). Meals are delivered Monday through Friday to the Bulverde & Spring Branch area. In addition to delivering a daily meal, it also provides a daily check-in as the volunteer driver may be the only
person a Meals on Wheels client may have contact with daily. This contact allows us to keep a pulse on any needs clients may have. Through the Meals on Wheels program, our invaluable volunteers successfully delivered more than 14,000 meals to homebound seniors in the last year. Through our Pets on Wheels Program, MOW clients with pets receive food for their pets as well. Since seniors sometimes give their food to their pets and go without, Pets on Wheels ensures that seniors can be at ease knowing their pet is also cared for.

Here at the Center, we like to provide a 'Home Away from Home'; where older adults can socialize, meet friends, exercise, eat, play games, and most importantly...have fun! Currently, we have over 1,600 members with an average daily attendance of 350+! The Center is full of energy and activities daily, and we love seeing our members enjoy aging.
