When a child enters foster care, life can change in an instant.

A foster family may get a call asking them to welcome a child that very night. A grandparent may suddenly find themselves raising grandchildren. A caseworker may need a car seat before a child can safely leave the office. A family working toward reunification may need help creating a safe home for their children to return to.

That's where Vault Fostering Community comes in.

Vault provides essential items and practical support to children and caregivers impacted by the child welfare system throughout San Antonio and surrounding communities. From beds, car seats and diapers to clothing, shoes, baby gear and emergency supplies, we help make sure families have what they need to care for the children in their homes.

Simply put, when a family or caseworker asks, "Can you help?" we want to be able to say YES.

Our Big Give Goal: $30,000 = 30 Days of YES

It takes approximately $1,000 each day to fund Vault's programs and services.

So this Big Give, we're asking our community to come together and fund an entire month of YES.

30 days of safe beds and car seats.
30 days of diapers, clothing and shoes.
30 days of responding to urgent needs.
30 days of reaching families in rural communities.
30 days of keeping the Bexar County Rainbow Room stocked for caseworkers.
30 days of reminding caregivers that they don't have to do this alone.
