St Bonaventure Catholic Church

Saint Bonaventure Catholic Church was built on Palo Alto Rd in 1959. Since then, this parish has served families on the South Side of San Antonio. Through Sacred Scripture, the Sacraments, and prayer, we seek to grow in holiness and to follow Jesus more closely each day. Guided by the teachings of Jesus, our Lord and God, we strive to live the Gospel with love, mercy, and peace.  As we gather for the Holy Mass, may your heart be lifted in praise, your spirit renewed by God’s grace, and your faith strengthened through this sacred celebration. May the Lord meet you and draw you ever closer to Him.  We entrust our parish and all who come here to the loving intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Holy Father St Joseph, and our patron, St. Bonaventure.
