ABOUT US

JSA Youth Association is a Veteran owned and operated nonprofit dedicated to giving young people a safe place to belong, grow, and reach their potential through mentorship, education, leadership development, and sports.

Basketball may bring many kids through our doors, but our mission goes far beyond the court.

We are working to create a Community Youth Center where kids in our area can come after school and have access to:

• Computers and technology
• Classrooms and tutoring
• Mentorship and positive role models
• Leadership and life-skills development
• A game room and safe space to have fun
• Community programs and activities
• Opportunities to learn, connect, and belong

We want to create the kind of place where a young person can finish their homework, talk to a mentor, learn something new, spend time with friends, and know they are surrounded by people who believe in their future.

MORE THAN BASKETBALL

We also provide basketball development scholarships for youth whose families may not otherwise be able to afford training and participation.

For many kids, being part of a team is about much more than basketball. It gives them structure, confidence, friendships, mentorship, accountability, and a place where they feel like they belong.

Financial circumstances should never determine whether a child gets that opportunity.

OUR BIG GIVE GOAL: $100,000

This Big Give, we’re asking our community to help us expand what is possible for local youth.

Your donation will help us:

-Build and equip our Community Youth Center
-Create classrooms, computer stations, tutoring spaces, a game room, and areas for mentorship and youth programming.

-Provide Youth Scholarships
-Give more children access to basketball training, development, and the experience of being part of a positive team environment.

-Expand Youth Development Programs
-Provide mentorship, leadership development, life-skills education, academic support, and positive programming outside of school.
