At Family Promise of Greater New Braunfels, we believe every child deserves a safe place to sleep, every parent deserves the opportunity to rebuild, and every family deserves the chance to find their way home.

We are a community-driven organization dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness for families with children. Our work goes far beyond providing a temporary place to stay. We walk alongside families from the moment a housing crisis begins through their journey toward stability, independence, and permanent housing. (FPGNB)

Through our Eviction Prevention, Shelter Diversion, Emergency Family Shelter, and Stabilization programs, we meet families wherever they are in their housing crisis. Whether that means helping a family remain in their home, finding an alternative to homelessness, providing safe emergency shelter, or supporting a family after they move into permanent housing, our goal is simple: keep families together and create a pathway home.

For the children we serve, homelessness can mean much more than losing a house. It can disrupt school, friendships, routines, transportation, activities, and the sense of security every child needs to thrive. That is why our approach focuses on the whole family. We connect parents and children with individualized case management and resources that can address employment, transportation, childcare, education, housing, and other barriers to long-term stability.
