Our Court Appointed Special Advocates are a steady, compassionate presence for children and youth experiencing foster care in Bexar County. At CASA, we’ve walked alongside thousands of children during the most difficult times in their young lives. Through it all, one truth remains: every child deserves a chance to be a child- to play, to laugh, to feel safe, and more importantly, to have a bright future. 

It costs about $200 each month to provide a child with an advocate for a year. You can help today! Every dollar given goes towards another child served.

All Means All - Standing With Every Child When They Need It Most 

Every day, there are over 2,000 children and youth in foster care in Bexar County. Removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect, each child needs an Advocate, a trusted adult who provides constancy, builds trust, and ensures their best interests and wishes are represented in court.  You can help provide that person!

At CASA, we believe every child deserves stability and consistency in their lives, and that they have the support they need to heal and thrive. This year, CASA will serve more than 1,200 children. More children need us.

There has never been a better time to volunteer! As a Court Appointed Special Advocate, you will be a champion for a child’s best interests, making thoughtful recommendations to the judge regarding the child’s physical and emotional well-being.  

The time you volunteer will impact a child’s life, and the bonds you build will serve as a pathway to healing and hope. While you advocate for the child, an expert CASA staff member will be by your side throughout the case, ensuring you have someone to turn to.

The mission of Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) is to recruit, develop, and lead highly impactful court appointed volunteer Advocates who provide constancy and support for children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect.

We achieve our mission through advocacy for services, supportive connections, and permanency, while emphasizing family reunification when possible.

Our vision is to be a leading positive and influential force in the child welfare community, while serving children who have experienced abuse and neglect in Bexar County.
