Buckner Fanning School at Mission Springs

Buckner Fanning School at Mission Springs (BFSMS) is an accredited private Christian school serving children from Pre‑K3 through 7th grade. For 27 years, our school has followed the heart and vision of our founder, Reverend Buckner Fanning, welcoming families from all backgrounds and creating a place where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to grow.

We are committed to academic excellence, and our students consistently test one to two grade levels ahead in both math and reading. Small class sizes allow our teachers to truly understand each child’s needs, creating a learning environment where students thrive.

Our approach blends strong academics with hands‑on, project‑based learning. Students explore, build, and create through experiences such as our loose‑parts playground, culinary and pollinator gardens, and even caring for hens in our on‑campus hen house. We also offer Spanish, technology, art, and music to all grade levels, ensuring a well‑rounded education.
