Brighton Center is San Antonio's largest nonprofit supporting nearly 5,000 children with disabilities and developmental delays in our community through pediatric therapy, early childhood education, and special education support services.

Every child deserves to be seen for what they CAN DO, not defined by what they struggle with.
Working as a Special Education Consultant at the Brighton Center has given me the opportunity to see firsthand just how incredible different learning minds can be. Some children communicate differently. Some need more time, more repetition, or a different approach. Some reach milestones on a timeline completely their own. But every single one of them has something valuable to offer.
What I love most about his work is watching the moment a family realizes, "they can do this." It may be a word spoken for the first time, a new skill mastered, a connection made, or a family finally feeling hopeful about what comes next. Those moments may seem small to others, but to the children and families we serve they can mean everything.
Brighton Center helps give children of all abilities the support, resources, and opportunities they need to learn, grow, and thrive. It also gives families something equally important: people in their corner who believe in their child's potential.
