In 2009, my life connected with the vibrant spirit of a remarkable young woman named Emily. Despite facing health challenges and developmental disabilities, Emily radiated joy, always sharing contagious smiles and warm hugs. Her 25 years on this earth left a lasting impact, teaching me invaluable lessons about living with positivity, kindness, and courage. This meaningful encounter led me to Special Reach, a community dedicated to embracing and serving individuals like Emily. I count it as a blessing to contribute to this organization, learning from its mission and actively serving a community that exemplifies resilience and strength.
