Brighton Center is San Antonio's largest nonprofit supporting nearly 5,000 children with disabilities and developmental delays in our community through pediatric therapy, early childhood education, and special education support services.

Why I'm Supporting Brighton Center for Big Give

Brighton’s mission is personal to me. As a father of children with different needs, I know firsthand what it feels like to want the very best for your child while also trying to navigate systems that can sometimes feel overwhelming. That experience has shaped not only who I am as a parent, but also the work I have chosen to dedicate myself to professionally.

At Brighton, I have the privilege of helping families find their voice, understand their rights, and build the confidence to advocate for their children. Some of the most meaningful moments for me are when a parent goes from feeling unsure or overwhelmed to saying, “I can do this.” That is the impact I get to see every day.

Brighton is special because we don’t just provide services—we walk alongside families, celebrate their children’s strengths, and help parents recognize the strength they already have within themselves. I believe every child deserves someone in their corner, and every parent deserves to feel empowered to be that person.

For me, supporting Brighton means supporting families like mine and helping create a community where children with disabilities are given every opportunity to learn, grow, belong, and thrive.
