UFE serves only children living in poverty or crisis, delivering a full week’s supply of undies through trusted partners like Child Protective Services, school homeless departments, Boys & Girls Clubs, and mobile pediatric clinics.

Why South Central Texas Needs Us

In South Central Texas, families facing economic hardships know that underwear is one of the hardest essentials to provide. Across the U.S., nearly half of parents in poverty say it is the clothing item they struggle with most. When kids don’t have clean underwear, they are more likely to feel distracted at school, sit out of activities, or feel isolated from their peers.

Undies for Everyone is the only organization in the nation solely dedicated to providing new underwear to children in need. In South Central Texas, that means thousands of children each year start school or recovery with a full week’s supply of clean underwear. This simple gift gives kids comfort, dignity, and the confidence to show up ready to learn and thrive.

From One Pair to Real Impact

What began in 2008 with a Houston rabbi responding to a social worker’s plea has become a lifeline for thousands of children. After becoming a nonprofit in 2012, UFE scaled rapidly, distributing millions of pairs of underwear to kids who otherwise would go without.
