Stray Cat Adoptions of Texas has been finding homes for stray and homeless cats and kittens for the past 26 years.
SCAT does adoptions 7 days a week at 3 San Antonio Petsmart locations. We currently work with 18 local and state
shelters and community animal controls by taking in cats when shelters are over loaded. We also have a network of
over 30 fosters and rescuers who bring in cats to us for adoption. We average 100 adoptions a month at the 3 Petsmart
stores. Since our founding in November,2000, we have found homes for over 32,000 cats and kittens. All cats that we
adopt out are spayed/neutered and vaccinated. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit and rely on adoption fees and
in-kind donations and a small group of local volunteers.
